DevOps Engineer

Your Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for modernizing our automation platform through both consulting and technical implementation.
  • You will be consulting and implementing customer-driven automation use cases.
  • You will be developing Gitlab pipelines for app automation.
  • You will be implementing automation rollouts on target servers (Windows/RHEL) and OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
  • You will be evaluating and developing Terraform (TF) modules.
  • You will have the option to develop Helm charts and customize deployment.
  • You will be building Splunk/Grafana dashboards.
  • You will be working on improving OCP deployment.

Your Skills

Must have

General:

  • English: Fluent in Text & Speech
  • German: Fluent in Text & Speech
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to consult with customers on a technical level
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Technical:

  • Expertise in Terraform and GitOps
  • CI/CD pipelines design and implementation
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes/OpenShift
  • Proficiency with Ansible
  • Proficiency in bash scripting
  • Automation of RHEL/SUSE environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience with VMware administration
  • Experience with Java/JVM application stacks
  • Blue/Green deployments
  • Management of Highly Available clusters
  • Proficiency in Powershell, Go, JavaScript, and Python
