Python Engineer

What your tasks will be

  • Maintain and further develop the Python-based backend in combination with API and web services.
  • Contribute to code development, ensuring the application of best practices.
  • Support a CI/CD cycle-based deployment, working closely with the DevOps team.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Document and maintain software functionality.

What skills we are looking for

Must have

General

  • English: Fluent in Text & Speech
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Technical:

  • Strong knowledge of Python and API development.
  • Experience with web frameworks (preferably Django).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database design.
  • Proficiency in clean coding and adherence to coding standards.

Nice to have

  • Language skills: German
  • Experience with Oracle database.
  • Experience working with spatial data and GIS technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD and GitOps (Azure DevOps, BamBoo, ArgoCD).
  • Experience with asynchronous programming.
