What project you will work on
We are looking for a talented and experienced Data Scientist to step in for a team member on parental leave. You will be joining a team which is developing a market-ready product for connected vehicles which is leveraging “over the air” transmitted vehicle data to improve roadside assistance and provide additional mobility services.

While this is a 5-month temporary role covering a parental leave, we see this as a chance to welcome new talent to our team and we’re open to making it permanent if there’s a mutual fit and a project need.
What your tasks will be
- Research and analyze data from thousands of test customers to create prototypes and proofs of concept.
- Work closely with product and backend teams to integrate innovations into our products.
- Prepare clear reports and visualizations to share research results.
- Continuously improve our data models and algorithms through research and testing.
- Lead discussions and workshops with clients to explore and identify data science opportunities.
- Be driven to innovate and persuade stakeholders of the value of data science.
- Share knowledge and progress through regular domain exchange and technical meetings.
- Keep updated with the latest in research and machine learning and share insights with the team.
What skills we are looking for
- You have 3+ years of experience in the industry
- You are skilled in machine learning approaches and machine learning frameworks
- You have a proficient understanding of Python and libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Jupyter, etc.
- You´re familiar with the Microsoft Azure environment
- You have an end to end understanding of data pipelines and are skilled at using SQL
- You’re communicative and supportive to team mates and clients
- You’re adaptable and flexible and have a knack for problem solving
- You have a strong business mindset
- You can be articulate and persuasive when it comes to solution proposals
- You are fluent in German and English
